Do you really want someone to know everything about you?

God knows. Does that make you uncomfortable?

Awesome, informative post!! As a new believer, I used to feel extremely uncomfortable with the thought of God knowing EVERYTHING about me. I cringed at the thought of Him knowing all the things I had done. Now, I see the beauty in Him knowing. When we allow Him to “uncover” those hidden areas, His sufficient grace “covers” them – for good! There is absolute freedom in that!

Yes! That was my journey too, Esther. It took awhile to realize that his omniscience is a GOOD thing, not a fearful thing. But once I got it, I did find much freedom and peace in it. Thanks for sharing these thoughts.

This is for sure: we’ll never run out of new things to learn! I love learning too. I suppose God doesn’t get that feeling since he knows everything already? 🙂

When I think about it, I’m relieved He knows what I’m thinking because I don’t have to explain or defend why I’m thinking the way I am. He understands I’m sinful and my thoughts will reflect this.
Great post and I’m clicking over!

Just jumped over to read your post, Lisa! I am so thankful for a God who knows me inside and out. From head to toe – the good and the bad. And the best part? He still loves me! 😉

Thanks, as always, for sharing at #MomentsofHope ♥ I am so thankful for you!
    Blessings and smiles,
