31-Days Proverbs Reading Challenge
Interested in a short Bible reading challenge to start off 2018?
Here’s a 31-day challenge from DoNotDepart.
Read one chapter of Proverbs every day in January.
You can download a complete packet for free. With it, you can journal, keep track of notes, write down study insights, etc.
You can also join the DoNotDepart community Facebook group to discuss what you’re learning.
And if you want to read the whole Bible in 2 years (1 year is too quick for me), here is a 2-year Bible reading plan that I use over and over.

Hi Lisa! I have read the book of Proverbs every other month for several years. I have encouraged the folks at the church I pastor to do the same. I have also almost stayed constantly in Psalms. This year I plan to do something different. My daily quiet time will include New Morning Mercies with a blog on my thoughts: http://betransformed.ovcf.org/. My plan is to also continue reading Whiter Than Snow (a devotional on Sin and Mercy) and use the ESV Reader’s Bible to start in Matthew. It really doesn’t matter to me what someone uses AS LONG AS they are in the Word! So glad you are.
That’s awesome that you read through Proverbs so many times, Bill. Definitely the sign of wisdom. 🙂 I’m looking forward to another read-through this month. And I’m now following your new blog and look forward to the wisdom that you will share there as well.
Lisa, a short Bible reading challenge is exactly what I need to start off the new year. Thanks for mentioning this. Count me in!
Yay! It’s nice to know that other friends are reading the same thing each day that I am. Happy New Year, Susan!
I love all the Bible reading options that pop up this time of year! This is a great one to start things off – thanks!
I love the brevity of this challenge; it’s sure to provide a win to start the year. We all need that. 🙂
